    Phyllis. A. DePasquale (Sauro), 92, of Greenville, passed away Saturday July 28, 2018 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmine A. DePasquale. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Theresa (Vanelli) Sauro. Phyllis was the office manager for Carmine DePasquale Construction. She was a devoted communicant of St. Philip Church, an avid reader and loved to dance, especially Round and Square dancing. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose family was the center of her life. She is survived by her sons, David J. DePasquale, and his wife Kathleen, and Robert M. DePasquale; her daughters, Anne Marie Pasquale, and her husband Keith Herron, and Donna L. DePasquale, and two grandchildren, James J. DePasquale and Teresa A. Brodner. She was the mother of the late Jeanne M. Shaprut and the sister of the late Alfred Sauro, Sally Plourde, Mary Hobson, Lee Oliver and Elaine Primmer. Visiting hours will be Saturday August 11, 2018 from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St. North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Smithfield. Donations in Phyllis’ memory may be made to Special Olympics Rhode Island, 370 George Washington Highway, Smithfield, RI 02917.
