(1) Dec. 13, 1767 Johan Pieter son of Pieter Heuser and Cathrina Buys, married; witnesses, Hannes Buys and Elizabeth Teller. (2) Oct. 8, 1769 Elizabeth daughter of Pieter Huyser and Cathrina Buys, married: witness Elizabeth Cranny. Born Sept. 14, 1769. (3) 1771 Petrus son of Pieter Huiser and Cathrina Buys Born June 7, 1771. (A. J. F. van Laer, State Archivist and Dutch Scholar, says Buys is undoubtedly a Dutch name and that Heuser, Huyser or Huiser is more likely to be a Palatine, but may be Dutch) Record from Peter Hyzer bible now in possession of Lester W. Hyzer, Franklin, Delaware County, N. Y. formerly in possession of Lany Samuels, daughter of Peter Hyzer and mother of Jacob Samuels, Andes, N. Y.
