He had siblings Walter Herbert Bowyer, Herbert Bowyer, Ann Bowyer, Elizabeth Bessie Bowyer, Clara Bowyer, Emma Bowyer, Henry William Bowyer, and Sophia Bowyer. Ralph Bowyer died at age 80 years old in November 1958 in Murrumbeena, City of Glen Eira County.
