Add Memories, Stories & Photos about Ralph

Wonderful childhood memories
As a child, my mother (Mary) and father, Kenneth Snyder would frequent Ralph and Mercy's farm for milk and eggs. They were such wonderful folks. Sometimes my mother and Mercy would chop the heads of hens off before my mother would take them home to dress them out and ready them for our freezer. I remember chickens giving us a fright when them would fly up the short distance into the tree outside of the milkhouse. Anyway, I retired 3 years ago and am in the process of going through things stored from the past. I have a one gallon clear glass milk jug with a fingerhold just under the neck of the bottle. It still has the red sticker that was always on the top of the cap and another red sticker just under the neck of the bottle. It is shiny clean with only wear on the cap. I would like to know if anyone who remembers their farm and those milk jugs and would be interested in having it. You can email me at [contact link] and I will see that it becomes yours. Thank you.
