Hello, my name is Janet Hopkins Lieberman. I have been doing research on my paternal grandfather's side of the family. From ancestry.com, I have found his marker in Sacramento, CA(he was born in 1888 in Davenport, IA). His first wife was my grandmother, Cecilia Biegel Hopkins Cunningham(she divorced him in 1920). I never met him, and my mother and father divorced in 1969. I do know that he had a second family but have never had contact with them. Is there a way to find them? It might have to be this second family's grandchildren now since my father would be 102 now and they might not be that much younger. Would like to know why Ralph's father, William Hopkins, is absent in the 1900 census, and his wife, Emma is listed as a widow with only 2 children then - what happened?
