Watkins Store in Chicago: I met Mr. Orduna while working in my father's, Anderson Reed's, Watkins Store. I remember him in the middle 70's coming to my father's store to buy Watkins Products. I waited on him & placed his products in a bag, while my father tallied up his receipt. I think Mr. Orduna sold Watkins products, but I'm not sure. At that time the Watkins store was located 513 E. 63rd St.
The last time I saw Mr. Orduna was around 1989 or 90 at my father's Watkins store on E. 71st in Chicago. I think it was shortly around a holiday, but can't remember which one. I want to think it was shortly around Christmas. Mr. Orduna said he was going to meet with The Tuskegee Airmen. He said they meet I think every year, but I'm not certain.
