Introduction

Randy was the father of the man I was lucky enough to share my life with for a short while. He welcomed me into their home and family as he recognized the love his son had for me, and I for him. He invited me over anytime there was a gathering, making me feel like a part of the family. He had a warm heart, and an only child. He took Jesse's death very harshly, as any parent would. Jesse died in 2002. He still invited me over once a year to share our memories. He was kind.

Gifford, Randy GREENVILLE, N.Y. Randy Gifford, 51, of Greenville, N.Y. passed away suddenly in the town of Durham. He was born in Catskill, N.Y. on October 23, 1956, son of Richard Gifford (Mary Ann) of Greenville, N.Y. and Carolyn (Burnett) Bullinger of Williamsport, Tenn. Randy was a well- known building contractor; known for his excellent workmanship. He attended the Greenville-Norton Hill U.M. Church. He was a friend to all he met and would help anyone in need. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was pre-deceased by his son Jesse Ryan Gifford on July 14, 2002. Surviving besides his parents is his fiance, Sally-Ann Asaro; two brothers, Andrew Gifford (Teresa), Donald Gifford; three sisters, Deborah Boyd (Phil), Sandra Grigg (Gary) and Bonnie Ralston; uncles, Jack Gifford and Ogden Saddlemire; Aunt Shirley Fernandez, also several nieces and nephews. As to his request he was cremated at the Albany Rural Cemetery. Interment was at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are requested to meet at Clancy's Rainbow Lodge on Rte. 26, Greenville, Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville. - See more at:
