2 Memories, Stories & Photos about Ray

Grandad
Ray was my father's father. He left my dad and his mother, Geraldine, dad was 3 years old. We lived. in one of his rental houses in St. Jo, in 1953. He smoked camel cigarettes. he never drove over 35mph, never put anything in writing as he felt a man's word was his bond. Ray had a daughter, Dorothy and several wives, he was married to Sally when he died. I don't have many fond memories of him as he was an absentee granddad. I hope to outlive him, as he was the oldest of my dad's relatives when he died at age 82. My Dad died at 73. My dad had no siblings, as Dorothy was his half-sister. I don't know much about Granddad and have mostly not so fond memories of him.

Ray was estranged from Paul until 1952. He maintained a very strained relationship with Paul until his death.
