They had children together including Nicholas Carew Trevan (1935-1992) and Wendy Trevan (1945-1992). A few years after starting his family, he enlisted in the UK military in Wallgrove, New South Wales, in 1939. Raymond joined the 2nd Al F, which was part of the B883: Army. The 2nd Al F was an infantry unit, and it is likely that Trevan saw action during his time in the military. Trevan's military service lasted for nine years, until 1948. Raymond Trevan died at age 90 years old on January 28, 2000 in Footscray, City of Maribyrnong County.
