George Reginald "Reggie" Boyce was born on April 21, 1893, in Brooklyn, New York to Orlando C and Mary Whalen Boice. His father, Orlando, son of Robert and Sarah Jane Coons Boice was from Germantown, Columbia Co, NY. His mother Mary Whalen, daughter of Lawrence and Catharine Mackey Whalen, was from Hudson, Columbia Co, NY. Reginald (he never used his given name) was the 5th child of 14. (13 who lived.) He married Agnes Moore in 1916. They had three children during their marriage; Leonard Francis (my father), Agnes and Marcella. At the age of 76, he passes away on November 17, 1969 in Hoboken, NJ and was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, Bergen County, New Jersey.

Funeral from Earl F Bosworth Funeral Home, 311 Willow Avenue, Hoboken on Thursday, November 20, at 8:30 am. High mass of requiem. Our Lady of Grace Church at 9:15 o'clock. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 pm.
