Reuben Wilfred John McHugh was born on August 23, 1876 at Mallala SA, Australia in Mallala, District Council of Mallala County, SA Australia to Edward Henry McHugh and Charlotte Eliza (Jefferies) McHugh, and had siblings Ella Agnes McHugh, Cecil Henry McHugh, Hubert Newton Jefferies McHugh, Charlotte Hilda Helena McHugh, and Albert McHugh. He married Elizabeth Rhoda (Williams) McHugh, and died at age 74 years old on May 9, 1951 at Midland Junction Hospital in Midland, City of Swan County, Western. Reuben McHugh was buried at Cemetery in Katrine, Shire of Northam County.
