Coledge Harland was born to Alfred Harland and Cecelia Preston (Richardson) Harland, and had siblings Annie Richardson (Harland) Nathan, Faith Harland, Claude Harland, Cyril Alfred Harland, and Ormond Harland. He married Jane Vince Harland on November 26, 1926 in Oodnadatta, Pastoral Unincorporated Area County, South Australia Australia, and died on May 31, 1963 in Coburg, Merri-Bek City County, VIC Australia. Coledge Harland was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes Hwy, in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County.
