    Rex H. Hovatter, age 57 of White Oak, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at home. Born on March 24, 1951 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Rex was the son of Mary (Krznaric) Scott and the late Fred Hovatter. Rex was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Army and attaining the rank of Specialist, 4th. Class. Rex retired as a lineman for Bell Telephone in Clairton. Besides his mother, Rex is survived by his son Luis Hovatter and brothers David Hovatter and Robert (Marie) Hovatter of Plum Boro. Burial services were held privately for Rex at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville. Arrangements were in the charge of the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory of Versailles.
