Richard Anderson Fountain of North Clyde, Vic Australia was born in July 1848 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire County, England United Kingdom to George Edward Fountain and Elizabeth Smith Fountain. He had a sister Mary Jane Fountain. He married Grace Elizabeth (Horton) Fountain, and had children Walter Anderson Fountain, Herbert Leslie Fountain, Irene Elizabeth Fountain, Ruth Victoria Grace Fountain, William Edward Fountain, Arthur Ernest Fountain, Evelyn Agnes Fountain, and Linda May Fountain. Richard Fountain died at age 70 years old on September 18, 1918 at Bewick Hospital in Bewick, Vic Australia, and was buried on September 19, 1018 at Bewick Cemetery in Bewick.
