Uncle Richard A Dotta
He was my dad’s older brother by 15 years. He was born and raised with my dad in Airolo, Switzerland. There were six other siblings between them.
In 1976 I had the opportunity to go to Airolo where my Aunt Lucia still lives in Airolo in the house they all grew up in.
To this day, not 100% sure why someone would ever leave that beautiful country. Their parents were Abele Dotta (Airolo) and Marguerite Beffa (Madrano), Switzerland.
My parents were Giacomo Carlo (Jack) Dotta and Margarite Marie Weis (Luxembourg). They met in Hamm, Luxembourg. They married in Hamm. Returned to USA to raise seven children.
