She married Mary Ann Yeschke, and had children Richard C Stevwing, Jr., Rochelle Ann Somerville, Mary Stevwing, Mark Stevwing, Roseanne Stevwing, Kenneth Raymond Stevwing, and Victoria Ann Stevwing. Richard Stevwing died at age 75 years old on September 28, 2008 in Pittsburgh.
