He had siblings Margaret Moulsdale, Margaret Moulsdale, Edward Moulsdale, Margaret Moulsdall, William McDonald Moulsdale, and Thomas Moulsdale. Richard Moulsdale died at age 72 years old in 1922 in Tungamah.
