Richard was married to Sally and DEVEAUX Gerraughty and Richard was the senior vice president and zone controller of Shaumut Bank In Salem Massachusetts until his diagnosis with multiple sclerosis in 1986. He was born in Newton Massachusetts and shared a duplex with his family and his parents in Waltham Massachusetts. In his later years they moved to Georgetown Massachusetts and then to Reading, Massachusetts which is the place that Richard took his own life. He was a hard worker and provided a comfortable lifestyle for his three children. Brian Richard, John Michael, Cheryl Ann were his kids. Cheryl later would go on to change her name more than once but as of 2021 Cheryl‘s new name is Emmamaagic Einhorn. It is highly likely that both Richard and Sally Had undiagnosed Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. This is a genetic mutation that has a 50% chance of being passed on to each offspring. Richard had two grandchildren from his daughter that he never got to meet and two grandchildren from his son John Michael whom we also never got to meet.

Richard had multiple sclerosis and most likely Ehlers Danlos Syndrome that went undiagnosed which his daughter in 2017 was later diagnosed as having Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. With the loss of Richard‘s eyesight and his job and livelihood on top of having bipolar depression he opted to take his life by hanging himself in the garage from the rafters using an orange extension cord on a hot June day. His daughter whose name at the time with Cheryl Gerraughty was the one to find him dead.
