Richard John Humphries of Sandringham, City of Bayside County, VIC Australia was born on October 14, 1860 in Morphett Vale, City of Onkaparinga County, SA to Edmund Humphris and Agnes Lee Humphris. He had siblings Amy Agnes Humphris, Maude Sarah Humphries, Leonard Boaz Humphries, Arthur Henry Humphries, and Edmund Humphris. He married Ann Louisa Hayzen, and had children Maud Louisa Humphris, Thomas Richard Humphris, Edmund Charles Humphris, George Hayzen Humphris, Adelaide Dorothy Humphris, Sydney John Bennett Humphris, and Roy Lee Humphris.
