  • Introduction

    How I wish I would have asked more questions when I had the opportunity. I am one of two children of Richard and Dolores ("Dee") Sloma. My father was a complicated man, driven to succeed and he expected others to do their best as well. An international businessman and successful author ("No-Nonsense Management") he, at heart, wanted to be a researcher. But life circumstances thrust him into the business world where he made a positive difference in the lives of many. He went to law school later in life, and taught. My best memory of my father was that he took me with him to Hong Kong on a business trip. It broadened my understanding of our world. I miss him very much and wish we had had the opportunity to know each other better. He was a loving husband and father. Lynn Sloma-Hurley
