Richard Thomas Pattie of Hyde Street, in Footscray, Vic Australia was born in 1894 in Ballarat, Ballarat City County to James Richard Pattie and Matilda Jane (Carson) Pattie. He had siblings Josiah Goad Pattie, Alice Grace May (Pattie) Hogan, and Vera Daisy (Pattie) Manallack. He married Violet Pattie (May), and had a child Olive May Weatherly. Richard Pattie died at age 67 years old on December 11, 1962 in Altona, City of Hobsons Bay County, and was buried on December 13, 1962 at Altona Memorial Park Dohertys Rd, in Laverton North, Hobsons Bay City County.
