Robert Allison Sullivan 1855 - 1915

Robert Allison Sullivan was born on May 25, 1855 in IL. He married Nancy Lucinda (McAdow) Sullivan on August 25, 1879 in KS, and they were married until Nancy's death on July 8, 1893. They had children Effie Marion (Sullivan) Newbold and Agnes Ann (Sullivan) Demint. He married Jennie (Hungerford) Sullivan on September 9, 1894 in Linn Co County. Robert Sullivan died at age 60 years old on October 15, 1915 in KS, and was buried in October 1915 at Highland Cemetery in Parker.

SULLIVAN, ROBERT ALLISON Obituary Robert Allison Sullivan was born in the state of ILL., May 25th, 1855; his parents moving to Kansas in the early days of Kansas statehood. He lived most of his life in the state and for a time was a resident of Parker, where he was an active member of the church. He married to Nancy L. McAdow, August 25th, 1879. To this union were born 2 daughters, Effie M. and Agnes A. They lived on a farm for a number of years but when Parker was (re)located they sold the farm and moved to (Hugo now) Parker where he engaged in the furniture business which he finally sold to H.C. Gatlin. Mrs. Sullivan died at their home in Parker, July 8th 1893; leaving him with the two children, aged 11 and 8 years. Later he was married to Mrs. Jennie Hungerford, of Lacygne. They continued to live in Parker until 1899, when they moved to Kansas City, where they resided until about ten years ago. Since that time he has not had a permanent home. The last 4 1/2 months he has -------I don't have the rest - this was from the Parker Historical Society.
