Robert was my best friend. We met at Rich's Department Store when I moved to GA. We were so close, everyone thought we were a couple! :) He was with Ed at the time, and this was long before Ed ever got sick. Robert and I had so much fun, and got into so much trouble. He always showed me such a good time, and we spent so much time together.

Even after they moved to North Carolina, we stayed as close as we could. This was long before email, texting, etc.

When he moved to WI, we reconnected. He had lost Ed, and he was a bit lost at that point. All that he had gone through, not only losing Ed, but losing the family that he had known for so long. Again, he was lost.

Robert was my family. We lost each other and for that, I'll forever be devestated. I hate that I wasn't there at the end. I don't know what happened. I don't know if he got sick. if it was an accident. I don't know. I just hope and pray that he wasn't alone and that he's up at the giant dicso in the sky now!!
