Robert C. Dedmon served in Troop A, 12th Cavalry of the US Army. He was a sergeant in 1935 at the time of his marriage. He attained the rank of major during WWII. In 1956, he was an officer of a VFW post in Brownsville, Texas and attended a VFW convention in Dallas.

Veterans of Foreign Wars In August 1968 he was listed on page 1056 of "The Numismatist" associated with coin collecting in Brownsville.

Robert Cecil Dedmon

This Army Training Regulation binder was found in a pile of condemned harness near Ft. Bliss, TX in the 1980's. Robert was probably a sergeant in the 12th Cavalry when he used this.
