Like a second father
I knew Bob before I graduated High School when he and my (Divorced) mother dated for several years. My biological father resided out of the country, and I looked at Bob as a father figure. He was very smart, and had a great outlook on life. No thing ever really wore Bob down, he could take on adversity and move through it, usually saying something like "Are we having fun yet?". It was through his encouragement that I joined the military, and ultimately became an Honor Graduate from Basic Training/ Top Gun for my Flight and member of the USAF Rifle and Pistol Team. Bob attended my first wedding, and sat in the seat reserved for the Father of the Groom. Bob was my anchor and who I looked to for advice and direction. He helped me achieve all that I have become. I miss his big voice, bear hugs and sense of humor so very much.
