Robert Dale Kimberlin was born on May 28, 1922 in Cowlington, Le Flore County, Oklahoma United States to Robert Kimberlin and Willie Lee Barnard, and had siblings Glenn Wayne Kimberlin, Beulah Louise (Kimberlin), Edward Leon Kimberlin, Marcella Irene (Kimberlin), Lowell Neil Kimberlin, Gary Dean Kimberlin, and Chrystal Juanita Kimberlin. He married Opal Glynn (Stephens), and had children Sharon Gayle (Kimberlin) and Stephen Dale Kimberlin. Robert Kimberlin died at age 51 years old circa January 24, 1974 at Pushmataha County Hospital in Antlers, Pushmataha County.

    It first said the immediate cause of death was Massive Pulmonary Embolus due to or as a consequence of Multiple Rib Fractures due to, or as a consequence of Trauma. This is what the death certificate said on Feb. 21, 1974 when the local registrar signed. It was amended on June 21, 1974 to immediate cause of death Complications of Rib Fractures due to or as a consequence of (Probable Pulmonary Embolism). He was injured by a collapsing brick wall while serving as a volunteer fireman in Antlers, OK. (A building fire)
