    Robert D. Covington 69 passed October 10 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Born in Bronx, NY he was a Plainfield resident 29 yrs. Mr. Covington was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church 15 yrs. where he served as Deacon, project manager, Men's Choir and Voices of Shiloh. He was a sales manager in the Engineering Department for Lucent Technologies. Predeceased by his parents George & Martha Covington, brothers Jack and Orlando Covington, Mother of his daughter Inetta Watts. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 46 years Sarah Covington, sons Robert Jr,(Robin), Sean(Kimberly), Robyn (Marlon) & Bryan Covington, brother George Covington III, 10 grandchildren and 2 gr.grandchildren and a host of loving relatives and friends.
