He had a half brother Caroll Wayne Woolbright (1954-1974). On August 4, 1958 he married Donna M Purcell in Los Angeles, California, USA. At the time he was 20 years old, and she was 18 years old. They had a son, Michael Wayne Woolbright (1959-1994). The couple later separated. He then married Shirley Ann Gray on February 18, 1967 in Harris, Texas, USA. They had children together including a son, David Paul Woolbright (born 1967).
