Robert George Cardwell of Tallangatta, Towong Shire County, VIC Australia was born in 1884 in Tallangatta to Mary Duff Cardwell and Robert Cardwell. He had a brother Walter Alexander Cardwell. He married Lily Camelia (Lord) Cardwell, and had children Irene Henrietta Lilian Cardwell, George Alexander Cardwell, Leslie Melbourne Cardwell, and Marion Jean Cardwell. Robert Cardwell died at age 49 years old on May 14, 1934 in Tallangatta.
