    Robert James Ahlquist November 8, 1932 - April 29, 2006 Robert James Ahlquist, 73, Newnata, entered into rest April 29, 2006 in Mountain View. He was born November 8, 1932 at French Lake, Minnesota to Victor and Louise (Walker) Ahlquist. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a retired City of Minneapolis truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Russell (Jean) Ahlquist of Newnata; daughters, Roberta Tanchin of Newnata, Ramona (John) White and Robin (Marvin) Manthe all of Minneapolis, Raissa Clarkson of Iron Mountain, Michigan, Debra (Brent) Eason of Cottage Grove, Minn., Jeanni (Jed) Hall of North Branch, Minn., Sandra Ahlquist (Scott) of Wilton, Wisconsin, and Stacey (Terry) Talach of Blaine, Minn., 27 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, many special relatives and friends and one special friend, Arnold Fields. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Richard, one grandson, Andy Wolter and one sister, Ethle Grande. Visitation in 3:30 - 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mtn. View. Funeral mass is 7 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mtn. View with Father Jim Fanrak officiating. A memorial service in Minneapolis is pending. Mr. Ahlquist will be cremated. Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mtn. View (870)269-3210 is in charge of the arrangements.
