He had siblings Merle (Buster) Cimmiyotti, Leila (Cimmiyotti) Crapper, Eugene Cimmiyotti, Vesta Elizabeth Leis, Vernard Oscar “Verne” Cimmiyotti, and Maryal Schultz. He married Cora Bethel (Bolton) Cimmiyotti on June 7, 1947 in Camas, Clark County, Washington, and died at age 88 years old on January 28, 2002 in The Dalles, Wasco County, OR. Robert Cimmiyotti was buried Ashes under a Peace Rose, in the Rose Garden, at Sorosis Park in The Dalles.

Cimmy
Went to barber College in Portland, Oregon. He was in the US Navy aboard the USS Tangier, the first ship to enter Pearl Harbor and the first ship to fire "The Shot Heard Around the World". He was the ships barber. After returning home, he opened and operated the Royal Barber Shop, in The Dalles, Oregon, until retiring in 1988.
