Robert Kelsall had siblings Henry Bagnold Kelsall, Edward Russell Kelsall, and Joseph Edward Kelsall. He married Sarah (Greenwood) Kelsall in 1886. He also married Jane Fenner Kelsall in 1896. They had children Lilian Constance Kelsall and Robert Francis Kelsall. Robert Kelsall died at age 72 years old on December 26, 1924 in Melbourne, VIC Australia.
