Robert McWade was a graduate of Central High School (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA). he attended school there in 1936 and was a member of the school band. It is possible that he also attended SUNY, New York State College for Teachers (Buffalo, New York, USA) in 1949.
Military Service

He registered for the WWII draft on October 16, 1940 in Dallas, Texas, USA at the age of 22. At the time he was 5'7", 138 lbs, with light complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes. He listed his next of kin as Frank B Jennings. Robert McWade then enlisted on October 27, 1942 in Dallas Texas (Military serial#: 38283916) His terms of enlistment were, "Enlistment For The Duration Of The War Or Other Emergency, Plus Six Months, Subject To The Discretion Of The President Or Otherwise According To Law". He was discharged from the Army on Jan 12, 1946.

Robert worked as a mechanic and repairman and in 1940 he was employed by the "Marchant Calculating Machine Co" in Dallas, Texas, USA.
