Robert L. Newell COSHOCTON: Robert L. Newell, 67, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at Autumn Health Care Extended Care. He was born on February 26, 1944 in Coshocton, Ohio, the son of the late Grover and Bernice (Nealey) Newell. Bob attended Coshocton High School, and was employed at Towne Sander Co. in Warsaw, Ohio, for 10 years, and then was employed at Clow Corporation for 33 years, before having to retire due to disability. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved collecting Mail Pouch Tobacco paintings, working on old cars, working in the garden, and making some of the "hottest" hot sauce in the County. Bob is survived by his wife, Janice (Croft) Newell; his children, Daniel Newell, Mike (Debrae) Newell, and Emilee (John) Elson, all of Coshocton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Maggie Newell, Devin Garverick, Austin Newell, Brianna Newell, Sierra Elson, Kaylynn Wylie, Kerrigan Newell; one great grandchild, Jasmine McCloy; one brother, David Newell of Coshocton; and a very special friend, Larry Lahna. Bob was preceded in death by his daughter, Jodie Sue Newell; sisters, Jane Miller, Bonnie McGrady; brother, Bill Newell; and his grandson, Joseph Newell. Per his wishes, cremation will take place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date with Pastor Steve Young of Young at Heart Ministries officiating.
