    Rocco John Jannetti is the son of Serafino Iannotta and Angelina Marcelli. He was white of Italian roots. His mother Angelina was born on July 18, 1896 in Rome, Roma, Lazio, Italy and immigrated to the US around 1912. She married Serafino in August of 1913 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, USA. She resided there for most of her life and passed away on March 24, 1961 in Wilkinsburg, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, USA. His father Serafino was born on December 26, 1892 in Rome, Roma, Lazio, Italy and immigrated to the states arriving in New York, New York on October 10, 1910. He later moved to Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania where he worked as a truck driver. He passed away in Pittsburgh on January 26, 1949.
