Rodney Lee Marcum of TX was born on September 13, 1956 to Kenneth Lee Marcum and Lois Headding Haney. He had siblings Roxanna M. (Marcum) Carlisle and Ricky Lee Marcum. He was the father of Jaime Marcum, Michael Marcum, and Daniel Marcum. Rodney Marcum died at age 52 years old on October 9, 2008.

He was gregarious, ornery and loving. He was funny and interesting. Although he was perceived as cold, he had this really huge heart. If you needed him, he would drop everything to be there. He lived without end and was never intrusive and always respectful. He required respect in his life. He gave respect and expected it back. Rodney was simple in this manner. It was the only thing simple about him because he was a conundrum in every other aspect.
