Rolland W. 'Bud' Ostrander Obituary
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 1997, in Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Vancouver, Wash., for Rolland W. ''Bud'' Ostrander, who died Dec. 13 at age 76.
Mr. Ostrander was born April 24, 1921, in New York City. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He lived in the Portland area for about 22 years. An executive in the oil industry, he worked for Mobil Oil, Signal Oil & Gas and Astro Management Co., retiring in 1991.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Norma of Vancouver; sons, Ron of Portland and Jerry of San Jose, Calif.; daughter, Vicki Kidwiler of Portland; sisters, Donna Balcombe of Oceanside, Calif., and Diane Jankowski of Nipomo, Calif.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Vancouver. The family suggests remembrances to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
