He had two brothers including Roger Arlen Kohlhagen (1949-1993). At age 20, he married Cheryn Ann Britt on July 16, 1967 and they spent their whole life in Jasper County Indiana. County Road 700 W., Died at 10:02 PM tuesday, January 12, in Jasper County Hospital, Rennsselaer. Mr. Kohlhagen worked with Purple Ribbon Seed, Remington, and worked for various seed corn companies. He also was a self-employed grain and livestock farmer. He and his brother farmed more than 3500 acres. Born November 7, 1946 in Joliet, Illinois, he graduated from Fair Oaks High School in 1964. He married Cheryn A. Britt on July 16, 1967 in Aix, and she survives. Mr. Kohlhagen was a member of Brushwood United Methodist Church, where he had taught Sunday school and held several offices.
