It's about that time this year in particular that I feel an ache in my heart. I have felt it for 21 years. I still miss you Ron. I always will.
I have so many good memories of him as a child between the ages of 5-7. I remember him "pretending" to allow me to steer his old car in seaside, walking me to school, making me a jumprope out of wood blocks (that he cut, drilled and sanded himself) and laundry line (I still have), teaching me to play go fish, and giving me his prized harmonica (that I LOVED and still have today), going canoeing for the first time, making a picnics and playing in the park. Ron was my buddy. I love him and I hope other people can think back to his life and remember the joy he gave them.
Ron's life had a profound impact on me in a short period of time. I think it would be nice if even one person reading this can share a story about him, to document him. He is important to me... And not just to me.
