I met Ron Perrin in 1986 when he worked for a plastics company in Austin called Nalle Plastics. I owned a similar company in Philadelphia. He was fired from Nalle Plastics in 1987 and joined a management recruiting company called Management Recruiters of Austin. Ron and I had become telephone friends. He was in dire need of money so I lent him $2500 in 1989. He wrote and signed a demand note for that amount and also made repayment provision with his life insurance policy if he should die.
I never heard from any of his family or heirs to his life insurance policy. If he followed through in his beneficiary statement then some people have been dishonest.
