Ron was a movie actor in Hollywood in the early 1960's. He starred in small parts in the Ten Commandments. He lived briefly with James Dean in the 1950's, and worked out at Golds Gym in L.A where he was friends with many actors of the period. He filmed a Western Series called Red Beard in 1961, but it was never developed in a series. Ron was a car nut, and loved exotic cars. Tragically he was set up in a kidnapping hoax in the 1980's that would be his demise. It was a bizarre story to divert attention of the entire police department while a local business man drug smuggler along with a corrupt police sheriff unloaded a barge of narcotics on the Mississippi river. Ron fell the unknowing victim of the diversion and would never hear the true story. He was broken after that , losing his wife and child.

Ron was a friendly man that had an interesting early life in Hollywood. He starred in a Western series called Red Beard. He played a part in the Ten Commandments. He knew James Dean, lived with Clint Eastwood and was a body builder hanging out at Gold’s Gym. He was gentle, caring, and trusted, yet at 43 he could not find his place in business. He loved cars, and had many Italian cars, 2002 bmw, and a Citroen convertible. In 1981 he was wrongly accused of a farce kidnapping, that was actually a diversion by a money laundering fast food enterprise that smuggled drugs into Jefferson parish, Ron’s demise was he knew the people involved, but wasn’t aware of the this organized crime in Jefferson, Louisiana - it’s an untold story. The conviction would change the course of his life for the worst. He is survived by his only daughter Lori Brooke Sarofim of Houston, Texas, and a son from a prior relationship.
