Rosa June (Smitt) Kirby 1883 - 1953

Rosa June (Smitt) Kirby of Sunshine Australia was born in 1883 in Bairnsdale, East Gippsland Shire County, VIC to Rose Helena (Peterson) Smitt and Eric William Smitt. She had siblings Eric William Smitt, Anna Louisa (Smitt) Karamaroudi, Thomas Berglund Smitt, Marjorie Isabell Smitt, John Edward Smitt, Andreas Oscar Smitt, Robert Gustave Smith, and Greta Helena Mary (Smitt) Florence. She was in a relationship with George Alfred Kirby, and had children Kingsley Ivan Kirby, Wanda Ludea Kirby, Roscoe Hubert "Roc" Kirby, and Lucy Doreen Kirby. Rosa Kirby died at age 69 years old on September 4, 1953 in Sunshine, and was buried at Fawkner Crematorium & Memorial Park in Fawkner, City of Merri-bek County.
