He lived most of his life in Ridgely, Lake, Tennessee and enlisted on October 25, 1941 in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia. He was a private and served in the US Army from October 25, 1941 until October 13, 1945. Around 1950, Roscoe moved to Michigan.
