Rose Visconti and her husband Frank were long time friends and neighbors of my family. I used to play
with their son, Russel. They lived across the street from us and a few houses down. Frank operated a
restaurant, "Captain Franks' on the East 9th St pier. He also had a "fish store' named "Fulton Fish". I can
remember him bouncing me on his knee when I I was a youngster! Whenever I took my wife to dinner
there, he treated us like "royalty!" So many memories! He was, indeed, a "gentleman"!
