My grandmother Sarah Shapiro Becker , was still in the Coney Island Hospital having just given birth on 11 Feb. to My mom ( Joan Becker ) who never met her grandmother . They kept women longer in those days.

my Rose, died, twice) My grandmother Sarah would not even
give them the respectful title of 'stepmother'. They
were called her father's wives. .
