Rosie Lee (Powell) McKee Mitchell of Texas United States was born on April 13, 1902 to Zack Powell Sr. and Cornelia Turner/Stewart. Rosie McKee Mitchell had siblings Otto Powell Sr., Pinkie (Powell) Mayes, Lillie (Powell) Butler, Willard “Bill” Powell Sr., Alton Powell Sr., and Zack Powell Jr.. She married David McKee on June 17, 1917 in Montgomery County, TX. They had children Ruby Lee “Olivia” (McKee) Jones, Willis McKee Sr., Murley McKee Sr., Johnnie Earl “Jack” McKee Sr., Ollie Viola McKee, Juanita (McKee) Washington Parker, and Hazel McKee. She would also marry Green Berry Mitchell on December 27, 1941 in Houston, Harris County. Rosie McKee Mitchell died at age 83 years old on September 17, 1985 in Houston.
