Services for Mr. Leavelle Pearson will be held 1 pm, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Union City Cemetery. Bro. Rick Benson and Bro. Therman Hodge will officiate. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Mr. Pearson, 84, of Union, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Specialty Hospital of Meridian. Leavelle Pearson, aka, “Pop” was such an easy going, wonderful man, that loved his family greatly and enjoyed every minute of life. We could talk about hunting, fishing and any sport that would be in season or whatever happened to come up in conversation. He enjoyed spending countless hours hunting with his grandchildren. He always made it a point to be there when they caught their first fish or killed their first deer. No matter what activities they were involved in, he always managed to be a part of it. Even in his declining years he loved to be outside whether it was cutting grass, tinkering with projects in his shop or finding new ways to get his wheelchair stuck in the mud. Survivors: Wife of 62 years: Charlene French Pearson Children: Laurie Ann Moore, Robbie Pearson Grandchildren: Christopher Pearson, Dustin Moore, Jacob Dollar (Kristi), Ethan Dollar (Meagan) Great Grandchildren: Gabe Dollar, Gage Dollar, Jeremy Dollar, Chloe Dollar and Madison Copes Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by parents, Rotchie Lee and Minnie Lee Smith Pearson;daughter, Alisa Rose Pearson Dollar; and two grandchildren, Jessie and Cheyene Moore. 1 son in law- Mitchell Moore. Pallbearers: Robbie Pearson, Christopher Pearson, Earl Davis, Ethan Dollar, Jesse Belk and Jacob Dollar
