Information on name change
Roy was born in 1923 Williamstown Victoria as Roy Joseph Tweedly. He married Amelia Mary Leahy . At some stage he changed his name to Roy William Charles Kettle. Does anyone know why? They had 7 children, some with surname Tweedly, then changed to Kettle. He was adopted presumably at birth by Charles and Elizabeth Tweedly ( my relatives). I wondered whether he found biological parents and this was his real name. This has been a family mystery, would love help in solving.
