He had siblings Paul Saiz, Robert Saiz, Sailo Saiz, Judy Menold, Mary Ann Pryor, Sandra Saiz, and Agnes Saiz. He married Virginia Barela, and had children Mary Saiz, Ruben Saiz, and Katherine Saiz. Ruben Saiz died at age 54 years old on June 9, 2001, and was buried on June 16, 2001 in Clovis, Curry County.
