Ruby Page Womack, 88, Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, March 15, 2011. Ruby was born in East Ridge, Tn., on Sept. 20, 1922, and was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area. She was a member of Hickory Valley Community Church where she was active in the women's Bible class. Ruby was preceded in death by loving husband of 63 years, Fred Womack, parents, Ira and Ruth Page, sister, Dorothy “Dot” Reeves and brother, Russell Page. She is survived by her son, Arlan and wife Jan Womack, grandchildren, Jason and Jenny Womack, all of Ringgold, Georgia, twin sister, Ruth Slater, Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Duke Stone officiating. Interment will be in National Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, CNA's, and staff of NHC Fort Oglethorpe.
